The matld guided wave radar level meter can emit high frequency microwave, which propagates along the probe rod. When it encounters the measured medium, the dielectric constant changes suddenly and causes reflection. The time interval between the transmitted pulse and the reflected pulse is proportional to the distance of the measured medium. At the same time, guided wave radar can also measure the interface of two different media, making full use of the difference of dielectric constant. However, the measurement condition is that the upper dielectric is not conductive or its dielectric constant is more than 10 times smaller than that of the lower dielectric. The working mode of pulse can measure the medium with small dielectric constant, and it is safe to use in all kinds of metal and non-metal containers, and has no harm to human body and environment. It can measure solid level, liquid level and liquid interface.
