Installation requirements of radar level gauge

1. When measuring the liquid level, it must be installed vertically and downward, and the inclination should not exceed 3 °.
2. The distance between the radar beam center and the vessel wall should be greater than the beam radius at the lower liquid level calculated from the beam angle and measurement range.

3. The beam path of radar should avoid the jet range of agitator, other obstacles and container feeding beam.
4. The inner diameter of the connecting short pipe should be as large as possible and the length should be as short as possible. The top of the conical antenna should protrude from the nozzle by at least 10 mm.

5. The central axis of the liquid level gauge shall be at least 250mm away from the inner wall of the equipment.
6. It is suggested to install a guide wave tube when the measured medium is agitated violently. The requirements for installation of wave guide tube are as follows:
A. the inclination of the liquid level gauge shall not exceed 1 ° and the distance between the antenna and the inner wall of the guided wave tube shall be 5mm.

B. the inner wall of the guided wave tube is smooth and the measured medium will not adhere.
c. There should be at least one hole in the guide wave tube above the liquid level. The diameter of the hole should not exceed 10% of its diameter. All openings should be located on the same side
