Analysis on the application design and flow control of magnetic flap level gauge

In mechanical engineering, it is a fact in life to meet the point of diminishing returns. Propulsion systems do more, faster, and limit problems than they end up accumulating - for us: turbulence, power demand, even quality. They start to affect speed, accuracy and performance. We found that we were able to increase the speed to a certain extent and meet our own standards: the speed of gas meter is 4000 SLPM, and the speed of mass magnetic flap level gauge is 3000 SLPM. However, with our reputation as "the world's fastest flow magnetic flap level meter company", when customers asked for 5000 SLPM magnetic flap liquid level meter, no one was interested in half measures.

The first is the magnetic flap level gauge
Starting with our core differential pressure sensor technology, we have designed a new laminar geometry to accommodate higher flow rates while reducing turbulence and stability issues when adding elements to our standard configuration. The result is a 5K SLPM flowmeter with a fairly low pressure drop - only 3.4 psi at full scale flow *. Due to the higher stability, we want the instrument to be more effective in variable environments. Therefore, it should not only be used to measure incoming airflow, but also to industrial process control, where more chaotic upstream fluctuations, lower pressure and higher speed can be expected.

High volume control
To provide flow control, we know that our ultra fast, almost frictionless rolamite valve will be ideal. By using existing valves, we have a known performance profile, which helps to ensure customer satisfaction. However, as the valve tank becomes larger, we are not satisfied with the high amperage required to quickly open and close this large valve. So we decided to divide and rule. The solution is to use two 2 "valves connected together in a parallel manifold configuration.

Still versatile
Customized for specific customers Magnetic level gauge It retains alicat's well-known programmability for ten different gases. With its throughput and robustness, it can be used to control oxygen or fuel gases in industrial combustion processes. As an instrument (without valves), it can be used to monitor the total gas consumption - for example, nitrogen (N2) - in the manufacturing facility.
